2007 marked a special year with the limited release of our EP – Not Again.  This CD followed the infamous full length CD – 13 – which as the name would suggest was not a lucky number for Real. ;0)  The amazing thing about this EP is that every song on it is still a fan favorite!  A video is available for “Those Days Are Gone“.

In 2008 we decided to release an all digital EP distribution – The Next Chapter.  This CD contained some select songs that we distributed without a physical CD.  While this  cut down on production costs – it left us without a physical CD to distribute to our fans.  It seems many people still want a physical CD.

In 2006 Real embarked on a new vision and re-banded with some new members and old members.  We took two years to develop our sound and change, develop a following, write songs and change Real it into a newer pop punk sound marketing us for radio ready songs and pitching to major labels.

If you haven’t noticed – things didn’t work out so well.  Some of these songs are now lost in legalities and will never see the light of day or be played live again.  Very sad as some of these songs were Realized to their greatest potential…..

2004 was a banner year for Real.  At the time Real was comprised of Mariano and Angelo – brothers – and Fabian.  A power trio.  But something was missing.  Having ran into an old classmate we shamelessly promoted out CD.  I was reminded by our old friend Joe that he played Keys.  I also remember him being the “Voice Of God” during the Stations of the Cross play we put on in grade school.  I played Jesus – a part I’m still recognized for today. ;0)

So we picked Joe up and we were never the same again. Not only did he bring powerful Keys and Piano sounds into the mix, he voice propelled us to the next level in our pursuit of old school style harmonies.  Adding songs and yet another lead singer to the band we landed a Production Deal out of Big Sky Audio.

The main song – Explode was a fan favorite.  It was towards the last day of recording when Joe and Mariano decided to re-work the song “I Blame You”.  The rest is history – hence the title of this full length CD – I Blame You.

2001 marked the year Real was born on CD.  Having formed from a fall out of Mariano’s original band “The Edge” – Fabian took over as drummer.  Together they forged ahead to create a new band – Real.  After playing live for several years it was time for the band to record their first CD.  Recorded at Ultimate Studios in South Philadelphia, Until You’re Home Again was a self produced first attempt at capturing Real’s Sound.

This was done in the typical style of tracking music independently.  Here after Real began a dedication to producing music as it was played.  Every CD here after Real laid the bedrock backing tracks live with the entire band playing together.
